Simon Phillips Studio Drums panning issue

hello all, I’m new to this forum so please be patient. thanks. I have searched this forum for the issue I will describe but I haven’t been able to find an answer. I have the most recent full version of Groove Agent and using Cubase 11 Elements. When I check the panning of the drum kit using the mixer for the Simon Phillips Studio Drums, when you pan something full left, it pans full right. When I pan something full right, it pans full left. I make a point of researching either the internet in general or within user forums before I will post a question. The user guides are also my best friends and I use them all the time. For what I am posting, I only found one instance of isssue but couldn’t find an answer to issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thank you in advance.

just tested using 5.0.30 with SP drums and for example the preset Boogaloo Brush… anything I pan left does go left correctly
is it a certain preset you have an issue with?

I’m experiencing the same issue, using the “Simon Philips Studio Drums” library sounds. Everything you pan to the right sounds left, and the agent mixer’s meters do not show what is sounding. I’ve tested with the “Init” patch, but the other patches of this lib exhibit the same behavior. Other Groove Agent drum libs seem to be okay. (tested with Groove Agent 5.2.10.32)

To my knowledge “Boogaloo Brush” Is not a patch of the “Simon Philips Studio Drums” Lib

Boogaloo Brush is SP Jazz Drums.

Just realised I’m responding to a 4 year old statement. Doh!

SP Studio and Jazz Drums work as expected here. But then, I turn off all the FX, the Room and OHs and the AUXs.

just curious. why do you turn off FX?

Just personal preference. I use 8 outputs (kick, snare, toms, etc) with a Waves TG12345 on each - for me, it’s magic. And these days, I just use a single reverb for the whole project (Reverence). The Room and Overheads, I just don’t like the sound of them.
It’s all about options.
