SIZING PLUGIN WINDOWS: Why are native steiny plugs so inflexible

I really like the new squasher…sounds great, easy to work with etc

HOWEVER

Whilst cubase allows resizing of 3rd party guis…am I missing something here because native ones dont seem to have this? Real estate is a big issue for gui and being able to arrange channel strips is workflow 101.

Also, if not using section eg if 1 band in Squasher…it would be good to be able to fold away inactive portions and reflow components if resizing the window so that guis can be arranges symmetrically and neatly on the screen
