Cubase Artist 8 is not opening for me. I get the error - Skin file 'skin not found, cannot open GUI resources. What’s the solution? I’d rather not reinstall due to every setting that I have saved. Unless, there is a way to keep those items in place while uninstalling and reinstalling. Any help?

Did this start after you did an update? I’ve seen this reported as a result of a bad install, and in that case a reinstall would fix it.
Doing a reinstall should not affect your prefs, but you can back them up by copying the %appdata%\Steinberg\ folder to another location for safe keeping.
nb: %appdata% is equal to typing (in my case) “C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg”.
