I’m disappointed that Cubase Pro 9 not only DIDN’T fix this, but actually made it WORSE, by removing the little nodes at the ends of the scroll bar that allow you to “bump” it left or right with a mouse click.

Yes, I can probably get used to doing this with the mouse wheel, but why am I being forced to when the old method worked well for me?

+1 this is especially annoying in the Score Editor in the lower zone, where the scroll bar is the only way to navigate. (in Key Edit you can use the hand tool via middle click)

this is the UX equivalent of stiletto shoes in terms of looks vs practicality.
