I’m using wavelab elements 7.
Any idea why the playback curser is skipping rapidly along the timeline in audio montage? for example i play from 3mins and the curser doesn’t run in realtime (the audio does) it just skips to say 3.40?

Likely a performance issue. What is your hardware setup?
a Mac book pro running OSX 10.5.8 with 1gb RAM, shouldn’t be a problem?
Hos many cores? Without at least 2 real cores, WaveLab won’t have good performances.
Have you activated “Scroll on play”? (you should not, in your case).
