Slash notation

You cannot convert (yet?) standard notation to rhythmic notation like before.

For the entire staff then.

I’m not sure what you mean – could you explain in more detail what you are wanting to do?

I mean in Cubase 13 we were able to convert to rhythmic notation a specific bar.

You can achieve the same effect by creating a second voice, one as regular, one slashed.

As for the way I want to adjust the rhythm notation, there should be a note shape option on the side. Then, for example, if all my notes are selected as the same note do, I can first select all midi, and then select the note shape I want in the side toolbar, and I can switch all the do to rhythm notation with one click.

And to ensure that when the rhythm notation is exported to the XML file, it can also be displayed as rhythm notation in other notation software (Sibelius can do it). Finally, there is a small question, why is it that in 2024, Cubase 14pro is still using the old version of the XML file and has not been updated to the Musicxml file format?

"I actually want to replace a silent measure with a measure showing rhythmic notation.
Up until Cubase 14, I used to select a measure and choose ‘Show Rhythmic Notes.’
Now, I can’t manage to select a single measure, nor can I mark it as rhythmic, as shown in the attached image.

In general, I also can’t find the measure settings anymore, like if I want to adjust the spacing of measures in a line.
Thanks so much for your help with this!"

Please, read the post I linked you to in t y9our other thread:

've tried all the steps you provided, but I can only create the rhythmic slashes with an actual note. What I want is to display only the rhythmic slashes, without any visible notes. In previous versions, this was much easier to do. How can I create just the rhythm slashes in Cubase without showing any note heads or pitches in the score?"
