Hello!
In the Intro to this piece, I have the keyboard playing a line, then later on, there are chords to be played in a specific rhythm (I’m using chord symbols).
When I convert the two minims via Edit-> Voices-> Rhythmic Slashes-> Slashes with stems, the notes in the Intro change to Slashes with stems as well.
What am I doing wrong? Is there another approach?

If you go Edit > Voices > Rhythmic Slashes, you are changing the way that that entire voice is displayed.
You want Edit (or right click) > Voices > Change Voice > New Slashed Up-Stem Voice.
