Can someone please help with AI6 issue. I am importing different audio files into a Cubase project which are all part of the same song; 8 different tracks for different instruments. All are WAV files sampled at 44.1 and 16 Bits per sample. The entire piece seems off pitch and just a tad sharp. Am I importing it incorrectly and if not can I adjust the pitch once it’s in the project?
Is there anyone who will respond?
It could be a samplerate mismatch, but that makes quite a big difference in pitch. Still worth a try, make sure your soundcard and Cubase are both running at 44.1KHz.
It could also be that Cubase tries to match the tempo of the files to the project, pitching them up or down in the process.
