When manual editing:
When creating a selection with selection brush and other various methods>
if select with Magic Wand (Add To/ Subtract From); then current added up selection will sometimes deselect areas from higher freq selections
I’m editing dialog; working on a letter/ syllable/ word/ words and this behaviour is happening too often in 12.0.20
possibly this is tied to the new undo feature? I might have to roll back to SL11
to screen record this might take some effort…
ok…duh…OBS screen recording set up…I’ll post the issue once I capture it
well, a few hours in, I’ve not been able to repro
in fact. the more I work, the more SLP12 appears to cache, the faster and more stable performance seems to be…I did just have a crash (when I wasn’t screen recording, agh!). It was a “bad_module_info has stopped working” so something else awry…that said, the crash was when using SLP magic wand in add to selection mode…pointing at something in my system, I reckons
well, I don’t get it…SL12 trial was running great. Since I purchased SL12, I’m experiencing all kinds of issues. Today I had a hang after trying to Cut To… from one layer to another…a small rectangular selection…I had to crash out of SL after a 10 min hang…I did screen record it
I guess I’ll roll back to SL11 for a while and see if I have the same issues or if 11.0.70 runs as stable as it previously was
yep, SLP 11.0.70 is absolutely stable so far editing this morning…in comparison with SLP 12.0.20; so I’m going to say the windows update has created no ill fx (maybe for only SLP11?)
to clarify, I’m only doing a couple things:
manual selection with mainly magic wand/ selection brush
cut special to layer below
or
transfer tool
