I often get slurs cutting through accidentals like this - should Dorico not be smart enough to avoid these by arching the slur up a little higher, and if not what’s the easiest way for me to manipulate each one to avoid it cutting across the flat?
Check your settings in Engraving Options/Slurs/Accidentals.
Uncheck “allow slur to bisect stem of flat” if you don’t want that.
Ah okay, something else I can’t do in Elements, I guess the majority of the engraving functionality is locked off. Is there any way to manually move parts of the slur a la Musescore, where you can click and drag parts of the line to reshape it?
Yes, you can do that in Engrave mode.
