Is it possible to adjust the length of an existing slur? I know it can be done in engrave mode by pulling the handles, but an it be done in other ways?
no, you can’t yet change the anchor points…

You can also select the slur in Engrave mode and hold down the option and use arrows to move the current handle (a little bit), or option-command arrow to move the handle a lot. (these are the Mac key commands). You can use the tab key to cycle through each handle. I remember seeing Daniel showing this in a video, but can’t recall which video. You can find these in the Dorico Key Commands under the Help section and then scrolling down the Engrave section to see what the key commands are for Windows.
