I found several threads dating to 2021 or before re: this issue. Attached is a 3-bar excerpt from a project in which 2 flutes are condensed, but duplicated slurs disappear upon condensing. I presume the trill in Flute 1 has something to do with it, but I haven’t been able to fix it. I found a suggestion to use a L.V. slur and adjust in Engrave mode. That sort of works, but is there a better way? Thanks!

You’re right that the presence of the trill is what is preventing the slur from appearing. I’m not sure completely why, but I’ll ask my expert colleague to provide me with the answer.
@dspreadbury
Here’s another similar example involving a trill. But this time the beaming is broken undesirably. I tried multiple workarounds to no avail. Last page of an orchestra score.
As a last resort I’m going to try deleting the trill and re-inserting as an SMuFL text frame in Engrave mode. Any help much appreciated!

In this case the beaming is broken because you have a condensing change after the first eighth note of the last bar in your example. If you create a condensing change, Dorico will treat that position as a phrase break, and that will result in a break in the beaming. Perhaps you can position the condensing change somewhere else nearby and still get the condensing result you’re after?
I will definitely try that tomorrow! But TBH, condensing remains a mystery to me. I occasionally have “aha” moments, but for the most part, I just try adding and deleting condensing changes here, there and everywhere, until I get the desired result. In this case, I tried everything I could think of, but perhaps I missed “the One”. Will try again, and report back. Wish this was easier, somehow…
Condensing is certainly a complex feature, and Dorico can’t show you exactly why it has made the decisions it has, so it can be opaque and that makes it harder to understand. Let me know how you get on.
Well, I tried every possible condensing change combination imaginable, and managed to restore the beams, but always at the cost of losing shared stems, and sometimes the slurs. Here is the simplest example:
I don’t want to wear out my welcome here, but I wonder…could you possibly edit the attached file to achieve complete condensing (all possible stems shared) and post the solution here?
Somehow, I think the trill is still the root of all this evil! But absent further help, I’m at a loss how to proceed. Thank you again!

I think the only way you can do it is to force the condensing using manual condensing in the Condensing Change dialog. Create a condensing change here:
and set up the manual condensing like this:
which gives this result:
Daniel, I hope you don’t get tired of people lavishing praise on you. I NEVER would have figured this out without your help. Truly exceptional customer support - can’t thank you enough!
Hoping to clarify – I think the reason Daniel’s way works (and is needed) is that the dotted half, being tied, is part of the beam group.
