Small q-o-l request: opening & closing Endpoint Setup

In Cubase, the icon that you click to open an instrument’s editor will also close that instrument on a second click.

Partly because I’m so used to it, I’m forever expecting a second click to close the Endpoint Setup window in Dorico. Often I’m opening it just to check that the right XP map is assigned. So I wondered if this could be implemented, and would it be desirable?

It can’t be implemented particularly easily, no, primarily because Endpoint Setup is modal, i.e. it blocks interaction with the project window while it’s open. We would need to change Endpoint Setup to be modeless, which isn’t a bad idea in principle but is not something we’re likely to do imminently.
