Hi,
Is there a way to automate having a different size font for rehearsal marks in the parts (like with bar numbers). I’d like to keep them large in the score but want them small in the parts. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change the paragraph style to have two different sizes.
Thanks,
Ray
No, indeed, you’re quite right: at the present time, because rehearsal marks are drawn using a font style, they don’t allow the use of a different size in score and part layouts. In the fullness of time we plan to migrate more of the items that use font styles to use paragraph styles, which will provide this capability.
In the meantime you can fudge this by selecting all the rehearsal marks in the score (via Select More or a filter) and scaling them up from the properties panel. This will only work if the Font Style is set to a staff-relative size.

Do you know when this will be available? I’d like to be able to change the size for parts in the paragraph styles. Thanks for all that you do.
Nice, thanks for the work-around.
Yes, it was implemented in Dorico 4.3.

Oh I see it now! Sorry, I misunderstood and thought that the rehearsal mark size option were only available to the score only in the Paragraph styles. I just have to check that box underneath, “Size in Parts” below it.
