snap always on?

hi, is there a way to turn snap off just for automation envelopes? its so frustrating i have snap on to Bar to move parts around cleanlyon the arrangement page but then whenever i touch some automation underneath a track the damn dots snap wildy to bars also, which is never what i want…hopefully others have this frustration too and there is already a setting for this?

Why don’t you turn the snap feature off when you adjust automation?

its just a constant :Turn Off Snap:Turn on Snap:Turn off Snap:Turn on Snap: hundreds of times per hour just to get around this. was hoping there was a more “friendly workflow” offer by Steinberg.
