Maybe somebody can drop a quick answer to this.
Earlier, when I recorded an audio event into Cubase, the event’s snap point was automatically created at the downbeat of the first recorded bar. But nowadays it is put at the start of the audio. For me it was much easier the first way, because after the recording was stopped, I could just simply drag the events around the bars, move a few bars ahead or later exactly. Now I have to manually move the snap point to the downbeat or constantly switch between relative and absolute grid modes.
Did I miss something, is it now is a simple preference or option to make it work like earlier? I don’t really remember in which version did the change come, but I’m absolutely sure, that a few years ago it was the first way.
Thx in advance
