A fellow French Dorician has sent me a project where he couldn’t make his snare drum with snares. I opened it (and my Dorico runs in English), noticed immediately that he had a side drum instead of a snare drum, changed the instrument, problem solved.
Could it be possible to have a “caisse claire avec timbre” and a “caisse de défilé” or another specific name for side drum, when Dorico is used in French, so that NotePerformer picks up the appropriate instrument?
