Soft-eliceneser doesn't have enough permissions

When starting Cubase, a e-Licenser control message appears in the center of the screen showing the text “Soft-eliceneser doesn’t have enough permissions to run properly. Please run LCC to fix this problem.”

I have located the LCC.exe file and clicked it, but nothing happens and the problem continues.

Any help will be appreciated since I need to resume working urgently.

Run eLCC as administrator.

Thank you KHS,

I have tried running the LCC file as administrator. The same thing. The computer does nothing (at least nothing I can see) and the problem persists.

The file is named “LCC.exe” and its location is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncrosoft\LCC”.

Is there any way I can check whether I have the latest version? I have right clicked and cannot see the version, but it says the latest modification is ‎Dec 14th ‎2011, ‏‎20:21:56.

Thanks

install the latest version
no matter which version is installed

Thank you. Do you know if I have to uninstall the old before? Im not skillfull with this type of things and would not like to enter into any nightmare.

Thanks

No need to uninstall the old one. Just run the installer and it will do the rest…

My solution was as follows:

  • I downloaded the latest eLicenser controller
  • I restarted computer so it was totally operational free
  • Ran the .exe

and the error was gone.
