I get this anoying nagging message everytime I start up any steinberg product, after a hardware change. (Not HD) “Soft-elicenser doesn’t have enough permission to run properly, pleas run LCC to fix this problem.” I’ve run LCC several time and done everything that is possible to do in that program. But it will nor change a thing. And I don’t need any soft e licenser… And haven’t used it ever… Got my USB dongle.
You should at least run your elicenser application once as administrator and run the maintenance task to fix things. If you still get issues after this then take a look at your UAC settings and you might have to set this to ‘never notify’ to get rid of this issue?
