Solo and Mute hotkeys not working when Channel Settings are open

I’m having an issue where solo & mute are not working when I open the “E” channel settings. Is this a known bug?

No, it’s not a bug. The Solo/Mute Key Commands are linked to the MixConsole window.

The shortcuts are working if you set the channel editor window to be always on top. And they work in the project window. It seems pretty counterintuitive that the only time they don’t work is when the channel editor is open, but not set to always on top.

Sure? When I open the channel editor with e, m and s are working as expected.
Maybe a Windows problem?

I’m on a Mac. It works if I set the channel editor to be always on top (by right clicking somewhere on the strip), otherwise I get an error message saying something like The assigned key command is not available.

ok, I’m on Mac too and you’re right. Some other key commands like record or monitor aren’t available also.
