With this command you could select events in the Project View to solo them rather than having to go all the way over to the little Solo button for each track that contains the events that you want to solo.
There is an option in preferences “Track selection follows event selection”.
When checked, it will select the track that contains the event you just clicked do you can just press S on you keyboard to solo the track
