Good evening out there. I’m looking for some help with the challenge below. I work with Cubase Artist 12 in the rehearsal room for live recordings of electric guitars, vocals and electric drums and the Alexis drum module is connected via USB cable to my DAW where the sound is created by EZ Dummer 3. The challenge is unwanted double notes especially from the kick and snare drums. How can this be avoided and solved? BR/ BL.
If you’re monitoring the Alexis kit for audio, you’re probably getting the double notes from Midi Through Active enabled. Does disabling that in Preferences fix it?
EDIT - or muting the EZ Drummer - not sure what your routing looks like.
