I am trying to notate a series of Preces & Responses. The Officiant’s part starts with a reciting tone. I can use hard spaces to gather all the syllables together under the note. Is there a way to left-justify these syllables with the start of the reciting note rather than have the lyric centered?
Yes: select the lyric, open the Properties panel, and set ‘Lyric alignment’ to ‘Left’.
This is a great feature, in that the resultant spacing is perfect.
