So i have severe Issues with Clicks and Pops in Cubase (and also Systemwide).
It Sounds like this: Stream Cubase Klicks Dropouts by Hannes Wolf | Listen online for free on SoundCloud
I first thought it has to to with tracks beeing record enabled but that does not seem to be the problem. When the problem appears in Cubase i also have it on Tidal, so it happens systemwide (but not always). I really need help here, because i can’t work like this. Thank you all!
My Setup:
- Cubase 13
- 2 year old Laptop with Windows 11 (i updated from windows 10 where the problem first appeared)
- 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz, 2304 MHz, 8 Cores, 16 logische(r) Prozessor(en)
- 64 Gb Ram
- Focusrite 18i20, USB
What i already tried:
- different usb interfaces
- Asio Driver instead of external Interface
- Different Buffersizes (Problem does not change)
- Different projects
- All 3rd Party plugins Disabled
- A Session with the problem where every track is deleted but one with no plugins
- Different USB Cale
- Different USB Port
- Running a session from another harddrive (D: instead of C:)
- All Enery Savings/Power settings are on maximum performance, nvidia as well
- EC/bios update
- bluetooth/wifi deactivated and new drivers
- deactivated almost every other application that was simultaniously running
- latest Interface Driver
- latest Asio driver
- disabling windows defender, excluding cubase, deactivating scans
- i ran LatencyMon and did what appeared there:
- everything in this thread: DPC Latency Caused by TCP/IP.SYS: How to Fix It in 5 Steps
- all Asio guard settings and steinberg power scheme
- i even cleaned the fans of my laptop.
A Few weeks ago everything worked fine and with constrained delay compensation i could record even in giant sessions with no problems. I suspect some update ticked some box somewhere in the system and its a windows problem, but at this point i just have no idea whatsoever.
I have already spend 8 hours, trying to fix this problem without any progress. I am very thankful for every bit of help!
