SOLVED: Colour on the fly with project logic editor

Hi everyone,

I’m in Cubase 12. I am wondering if there is a way to set the Logical Editor so that I can set a colour on the fly on a folder with a specific name and consequently on all the tracks it contains (any names they have).
Any tips? Thank you.

Yep. You have to create two Project Logical Editor presets.

One that selects the folder based on name (can use either Exact or Contains):

And one that sets colors if one’s parent is selected:

Then run them after each other, either through a macro or the Set Color as a post-process command of the Folder selection.

It still does require you to specify each folder name and color as a separate preset.

I’ll try it and let you know.
Thanks!

It works, thank you!
