(Solved) Cubase IC Pro Crashes on connect

System: Cubase 12 Artist, new install with Cubase IC Pro, updated
Cubase is running without issue, I have installed the SKI remote driver.

  • On opening IC Pro the computer is found.
  • Click the computer and the app closes.

The app store says it requires iOS 9 or later, my OS is 9.3.5.
I have another ipad with a later iOS and installed IC Pro and it connects immediately.

I have exactly the same problem but using 12 pro, turns out buying IC Pro was a waste of money

edit 1.2.4 fixes issue with ios 9

still no news on an android version, Steinberg is missing out on a huge chunk of potential sales there

Especially if your a PC user , i have an original licence because of Android support and now it’s useless

Thanks for the update!
Glad to read that Cubase iC Pro 1.2.4 resolved your problem.

Best,
Lars

Hi @Highly-Controversial,

Especially if your a PC user , i have an original licence because of Android support and now it’s useless

Unfortunately, Cubase iC Pro is limited to iOS at this moment. But the iOS version can be used to remote control both Cubase for macOS and Windows (PC).

Best,
Lars

I don’t use Apple products , so in a way this is a Camel Audio saturation , you sold licences for Android and discontinued support for Android and you are concentrating on Apple products while us Android users are left in the lurch . Nice .
