I have the Yeti connected to a brand new iPad Pro 11 via a USB-USB C adapter. Cubasis records the signal from Yeti and I can monitor the input signal using headphones connected to Yeti.
Problem: tracks in Cubasis are playing back through iPad speakers, not the headphones. After restarts and unplugging/plugging the mic back in I managed to get a crackled signal from the tracks to the headphones instead of the tablet speakers. However, in those cases Cubasis transport controls respond to touch randomly or not at all.
What am I missing? I saw someone use a powered USB hub before the USB lightning adapter. Is that necessary? I don’t need a powered USB hub with Cubasis 2 & iPad Air 2.
Unfortunately we’re not equipped with Blue’s Yeti, so we’re unable trying to give the issue a repro.
Cubasis 3 fully supports the use of CC-compatible audio devices.
I’d suggest to get in touch with Blue Microphones regarding the topic.
I’m at hand if they require any support from our end.
Blue thought it was a setting issue on Cubasis end, which wasn’t the case. As soon as I replaced the adapter (Apple USB to Thunderbolt) with another make and model everything was fine.
