[SOLVED] MIDI track only sending CC 120 / 0

New user so hoping I’m missing something obvious. I have a midi track and have the output routing set to All. I’m capturing the midi data with MIDI Wrench and the only messages I see are controller=120 and value=0.

I fired up the demo project also and configured a midi track to send to All. Same thing.

What I’m trying to do is have a midi track in Cubasis handle patch changes to external hardware. But the ext hardware isn’t recognizing the messages.

I tested the same thing with Xequence and it works fine.

Not sure what to check at this point.

Hi chadcb,

Cubasis provides MIDI CC support, which is described in the Editors/Key Editor chapter of the in-app help.
Please have a look also, if our available Cubasis Automation and MIDI CC tutorial is of addition help for you.

Sorry for late reply. I was able to get this working by importing a MIDI track that has the desired values. So I must be doing something wrong when creating it in Cubasis as that results in the CC120/0. But at least I know it works.
