Solved -Nuendo 13 (latest version) OSX is hanging when you stop play

I just started getting this issue, when ever I open and existing project, a Brand new file with a a simple stereo track, or a demo session, when I hit play everything goes as it should, and then when I hit stop, the audio continues to ring out for a couple of seconds, and then I get the SPOD (spinning pinwheel of death) and I have to force quit the app to get it back. Everything was working fine and the only thing I changed to may knowledge was I installed python (latest version)

Solved— the hanging is caused by selecting my external video card from Black Magic. When I switched back to internal (onscreen) video the system now works as normal.

Had this just today after updating the Blackmagic Desktop Video Software to 14.3. Reverting back to 12.9 did the trick for me on Win11 with a Decklink 4k SDI
