[solved] “Play from selection” not working

When I select an element in the score and press “p,” I don’t get playback. I understand that keystroke should give me “play from selection.”

I’ve tried selecting different elements, restarting, etc.

I search the forum but didn’t see any pertinent queries.

What shortcut shows up in the Play menu for the Play From Selection command? Is it possible you’ve reassigned this shortcut to something else?

Well, that was it. The shortcut had gotten unassigned somehow, apparently. Thanks.
