Does anybody have an idea why the dynamic (p) in 2nd Horn in 1st bar is missing after condensing change in cases like in the attachement (very simple 4-bars example).
Dynamic (f) in bar 3 in 1st Horn is shown as expected.

In your condensing options, you’re asking rests to be shown for inactive players, so I guess that’s what you want globally for your project (or your flow, at least). Here, it looks like you do a manual condensing change to override that setting, is that right?
For some reason, it hides the first dynamic, indeed. But if instead you add a condensing change that overrides only that option (without manual condensing), the dynamic appears:
"Thank you, Charles. Your answer made me delve deeper into the condensing issue.
Yes, in my default Notation Options for Condensing, I set rests to be shown for inactive players. I created a Condensing Change at the beginning of the system, where I activated Manual Condensing to place both instruments on one staff in a single Up-Stem Voice.
Dorico seems to understand situations where only one instrument has a dynamic, as well as situations where instruments have different dynamics. In both cases, it prioritizes the dynamic of the first instrument. If the first instrument has a rest (and therefore no dynamic), no dynamic will be displayed in the condensed view.
In the opposite situation, if the first instrument is displayed and the second one has a rest (is inactive), the dynamic is shown because it is the dynamic of the first instrument."
