I finally got to sit down briefly to look at the Dorico update and what I encountered was very strange and, given that no one else in the forum seems to have the same problem, I assume it’s something with my system.
I have a attached a screen shot showing how notes are not showing up as notes but as vertical lines with several horizontal lines through it, and the clef graphics on the right sidebar are not displaying as clefs but as horizontal lines.
So far as I know I have done nothing other than update to the latest version.
I appreciate any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this problem.
I feel like I was brain dead on this one. Instead of searching the forum I looked down the list of topics on the first page, figuring it would show up there if it was a common problem.
And, having been interrupted from diving into the update the last few days after running into this problem, I thought I actually had rebooted when I first ran into it. As it turns out, I must have been mistaken.
