I think I’ll create a separate thread for this as some amount of time has passed….
But It would be very useful if there were different ‘Listen’ amenities for some of the different modules.
For example, SPAN, one of the industry standard analyzers - allows you to ctrl+alt+click in the graph giving you a narrow notch pass filter which you can also then mousewheel the Q/width of.

White Lines represent “single band” or narrow notch listen.
- Click+Hold is a temporary listen until user releases mouse click
- Double click is a hold listen until manually cleared
- For modules that left/right separated, the user can alt+dblclick/hold to solo/listen to just on the left or right channel.
- Stereo bands can be changed to mid/side via right click

Right click menu can also give a bunch of context options : Clear selected, clear module all, clear SuperVision All, Move listen band to Left Channel (right, center, side, etc), BYPASS (important, so people can keep frequency of interests selected and saved, but not listen to them all the time)

Red boxes in the image represent hold selections
- User holds shift, click and drags a box. That box holds until manually cleared. Users can create multiple listen boxes - stereo, left, right, mid, side.

Pink boxes represent being able to solo listen Left/Right/Center/Mid(alt click center)/side(alt click L/R) channels.
The lines in my mockup are only to show the idea - I think in terms of the actual GUI of this idea - simply graying out/colour muting the non-soloed/listened areas would work, with the exception of the boxes maybe having some narrow range lines or maybe perimeter cycle like markers.
There could be lots of other options to explore here, for example a modifier and or options to change whether solo/listen bands are Notch Pass, or Notch Boost.

Should selections visually mirror to all relevant modules? perhaps an option
