Some notes randomly have low velocity

I’ve noticed this in a few files, but some notes will randomly have very low velocity (sometimes I can barely hear them in playback). I’m not inputting them using live recording, just with normal entry. I’ve disabled pitch contour emphasis and it doesn’t help. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can stop it? Alternatively, is there an easy way to just make all notes have the same velocity so I don’t have to change them individually?

If you can attach a small example that demonstrates the problem then we can take a look.

welcome to the forum!

Depending on the instruments you are using the settings under polyphonic instruments have also an impact on that. You can adjust the offset values or disable ‘Use automatic polyphonic instrument voice balancing’.
