Some plugins returning to default settings when reopening project

this is an issue that has started recently . The Arturia VSTi will load but it’ll be ina default state

anyone had this issue before?

after force closing cubase, choosinig the option disable program preferences fixed the issue.

I’m experiencing the same problem with the Waves CLA 76 compressor.
‘Force closing’ Cubase (I use v12 and/or v13) every time (as described above) cannot be the solution, can it?
