Something is wrong with the sequential number

Sometimes the sequential number at the end of the filename, which is automatically assigned to the recorded file, increases by one from the other sequential numbers of the tracks being recorded at the same time.

Is anyone else experiencing similar symptoms besides me?

As a test, I recorded the track with the REC arm off and then turned it back on, and the numbers do not line up, one more number is skipped, and the same thing happens again.

The symptoms were found in the following versions.
Nuendo v13.0.30, v13.0.41 ,v13.0.50.318

I believe it is probably a bug, but I would like to know how to solve it?
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

When pre-record is activated, a file is created automatically whenever you record-arm a track.
So it’s not a bug, but a feature.

Thanks for the reply!
I knew about the Pre-record function, but the Nuendo 10 I had previously used was not designed to increase the file number each time the record standby button was pressed.

This is inconvenient if you accidentally press record standby, And It’s not comfortable to have the sequential number of the original recording file misaligned each time you do this!

I am hoping to improve this behavior.
