I wish I could go through some detailed description of my process but actually I’ve just (finally) found a mic that seems to work with my voice. This leads me to be happy and hopefully therefore give a better performance.
FWIW the mic is a Shure SM7B and I use a Golden Age 73 JR Pre-amp but I know it’s not a mic that works for everyone.
