Song position pointer to start part when selecting part

I want to edit a long audio part at the current song position location. But when I open the audio editor, by selecting the part, the SPP jumps to the start of the part, and I lose the location I want to edit!

Is there a way to disable this “feature”?

Disable the Transport > Use Video Follows Editor Mode option, please.
