Sound Blaster Audigy Rx ASIO

Hi,

I’m currently running WaveLab 8.5.30 64-bit on Windows 7 64-bit with a Sound Blaster Audigy Rx sound card. When I switch my VST Audio Connections to any of the ASIO drivers, I get the following error when playing back audio:
“The audio card output could not be set to this sample rate: 44100 Hz” as seen in the attached images. It will only work with Windows MME.

Although this card supports 44.1kHz in the hardware and the consumer drivers, the ASIO drivers are explicitly described as being more limited. From the manual: “ASIO2 support at 24-bit 96 kHz and 16-bit 48 kHz resolutions”.

Hi,

To work around this sample rate issue
insert Crystal Resampler convert plugin
in to the Master Section
44.1 kHz for Audio file (Input)
Output to 48.0 kHz

try it !
