Sound from Midid

Hi,

I’m new to cubase.

I’m on windows Cubase 14, using steinberg UR12 interface. Have plugged in a korg midi keyboard. I can see on cubase its picking up the notes, but i can’t hear anything either on monitor/record or playback?

FYI, I can hear when i speak through the microphone etc.

On inpsector it says:

all midi inputs

vst is halion sonics

output routing stereo.

My audionconnectionsoutput are stereo through steinberg usb

Any ideas?

Hello and welcome,
by default Halion Sonic loads without any sound. You have to manually load a preset in one of its slots before you can hear anything.
