Argh, I’ve done that twice… Then my laptop wanted an update. After that, I shut it down, restarted, and still no sound.

It’s very unusual for installed things – and specific things, at that – to disappear after a system update.

It’s getting better now, but not really satisfactory so far. At least HALion Sonic and Groove Agent are now installed as instrument plug-ins. Also more sound library are installed now on your machine, but there are still some missing.
In order to proceed faster and more efficiently, how would you feel about having a remote screen sharing session with me? That way I could help you fastest, but I fully understand people that don’t like the idea of such remote sessions. And to mention it, I’d only want a screen sharing with you, I don’t want remote control of your computer, but just giving instructions. Please let me know what you think about it.

Yes, no worries, I’ve asked Google and it told me that Virginia Beach is currently 6 hours behind my local time.
