What’s the easiest and most efficient way to randomly use individual drum hits from multiple program presets? Say I am scrolling through different kits and I happen to like a single kick from one program, then audition another program and I like the hi hat from that kit, and so on and so on. It seems overkill to have that many instances of GA open for EACH individual sound I want to use for a project. AND…is there a way to have all these sounds I’ve chosen from different presets be on the SAME midi track? So its not 15 midi tracks with a single midi note on each.

You can pick up the sounds from the factory content from the Madia Bay. In the kits (presets) you can see the name of the sounds (e.g. “Kick-01” for a kick), you can find them in the library and then take them for your new GA preset. It´s time-consuming, yes, but I´m affraid it´s the only way.
