Hi folks, I’ve just upgraded to 14 pro and I’m trying to load a project I’ve been working on in Cubase 13 pro. I use 3 Soundtoys plugins on this particular project (Decapitator, Devil-loc, Echoboy) and none of them are found on load up. How can I fix this?
I upgraded from C13 pro to 14, too. All Soundtoys Plugins are where they´re supposed to be without doing anything (including the ones you mentioned).
All Soundtoy Plugins are VST 3.7.4 by now - have you by any chance a very old version? I’ve been working with them like forever and I’m sure there were a couple of updates. Maybe worth a try?
Check the plugin installation folder: Verify if the Soundtoys plugins are in the correct folder (often in the VST3 or VST folder within Program Files or Program Files (x86) on Windows, or in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST on Mac).
Update the plugin folder settings in Cubase: Go to Studio > Studio Setup > VST Plug-in Manager, then click on Manage VST2 (or VST3) Paths and ensure the Soundtoys plugin folder is included. After adding the path, restart Cubase.
Force a new plugin scan: In Studio > VST Plug-in Manager, click Reload All Plugins. This can resolve issues with plugins that aren’t recognized after an update.
