SP11 Startup Calls to divideframe and fluidtopics

Greetings. When SP11 starts, it makes calls to:
divideframe_dot_com
fluidtopics_dot_com

The interwebs classify these as “broadcast audio” and some AI content generation providers.

My question is, can anyone at SB confirm that access to these 3rd party domains are required for any particular feature/process? More specifically, what functions will I lose if I (continue to) block access to these sites?

I believe https://www.divideframe.com/ is just Robin’s personal website, from before the Steinberg/MAGIX/Sony days. I don’t know what https://www.fluidtopics.com/ is, but I don’t see any calls to these websites when I start up SL11.

Thanks for the reply - Yeah, I was wondering if that was the same Robin :slight_smile:

This is MacOS and it makes HTTPS those calls every time on startup. I’ve been blocking them each time (I have an app firewall by Objective Development), but wanted to see what I could find out before making it “permanent.”
