This is more of an information statement than a question. I run Spectral layers 13.20 standalone on Macbook M2 Pro on MAC OS 26.6.2, mainly for doing best quality Stem separations. I’ve been running into a random issue where it will crash whilst navigating the unmix song option menu before proceeding with the processing. anyway.. rather than bother support, I decided to use Codex to provide some analysis what might be causing the issue through feeding it crash dump logs etc.. and the evidence concluded that (Ironically) Codex (More specifically it’s computer helper service) maybe causing the crash. so was able to pause the specific service re-open Spectral Layers and successfully complete what I was trying to do without crashing.
I could not find any other helper topics on this specific use case so I thought I’d post on here to get some thoughts or there might even be an article that i’m missing about this already but assuming the safe bet it not to have Codex running at the same time.
