Hello @Robin_Lobel.
While working with the Clone Stamp tool RAM usage is increasing with every cursor movement in the spectrogram while the Realtime Brush Preview is also active, until either you click the left mouse button to apply the tool or you change to another tool. RAM gets flushed after that and SpectraLayers freezes for a certain time, or the application might even crash.
Decreasing the Realtime Brush Preview Limit in the preferences to 0.0M samples will prevent this memory leak at the cost of not having any preview.
SpectraLayers Pro 12.0.30 Build 431
Windows 11 Pro 24H2
Hmm… Reading the patch notes for 12.0.30 again there was supposed to be a fix for this issue.
Can anyone else confirm that the issue still persists?
AWESOME!!! Yes! I now experience no lag when using clone stamp tool with medium brush sizes (90px for example)…I tested much larger brush sizes; 300 and 500px and there’s a little bit of delay when actually performing the cloning, but no (or very minute) lag before and after performing a clone action
