Hi,
Spectralayers 12 Pro crashes when sending Pro Tools audio clips to Spectralayers via the bridge or Edit plugins.
It worked fine for 10 days working with it every day like this, and now for some reason it just doesn’t work and crashes. Nothing has changed on my system. Literally just out of the blue while working the whole day today.
It’s Pro Tools 2025.12 on macOS Tahoe 26.2.
At some point there was a message saying Spectralayers lost the ARA path out of the blue when I didn’t change any settings as far I know. I don’t use ARA in Pro Tools.
I restarted the computer, reinstalled Pro Tools, reinstalled Spectralayers 12.0.40. Reverted back to 12.0.00, then bac kto 12.0.40. Still crashes when sending audio clips from Pro Tools to SL12 Pro via the bridge or Edit plugin.
Spectralayers works fine on its own. It’s when sending audio into Pro Tools via the plugins that is the issue.
What can I do to fix this?
