Spectralayers 12 won't utilize GPU

This is a High quality Drum split, followed by playback. Why am I only seeing GPU activity on the latter? (he asked rhetorically)

Depends on the AI model. Not all are GPU compatible.

Not even the option on a MAC and the Windows version got the option in V10…Demuca GUI, RiMix and others ALL use the GPU on a MAC

There are many different stem splitting models like Spleeter, Demucs, MDX, Roformer, Bandit, SCnet, MVSep, VR etc. and for varying use cases you need different models. Some only split vocals and music, some split 4 different stems, some split 6 different stems, some do drum splitting, some remove reverb and so on.

Depending on what Steinberg uses, it might not have a GPU implementation on MacOS. Or maybe they have a custom implementation.

It would be nice to keep this thread about Spectralayers and thech specs.
I understand that you are a less than satisfied Mac user but please don’t spread it across several threads.
