Spectralayers crashes cubase 15 when user in ARA mode

Hi everyone,

I’m having a problem with SpectraLayers in Cubase 15.

Whenever I try to open SpectraLayers via ARA (using “Extensions” on an audio event), Cubase immediately crashes or shuts down.

I’ve tried reinstalling both Cubase 15 and SpectraLayers, and also tested it with a new empty project — same result.

Running on macOS Sonoma 14.7.6

SpectraLayers works fine as a standalone app, but not as an ARA extension inside Cubase.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a workaround?

I’m sorry to hear about your experience.

Please, attach the *.ips file.

Mac: macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).

Once installed Cubase 15 spetcralayers doesnt work in Cubase 14 either…
