When I import an ADM 7.1.4 files the .4 (top) are remixed in the other channels.
No way to use SL in 12 channels 7.1.4 …?

@maggiau if you’re on Windows, there’s a hack you can do to force support for 12 channels: open the Windows Registry (Win+R, regedit) and in the registry go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Steinberg\SpectraLayers Pro 10.0 , then click Edit > New > String Value, call it maxchannels , and set its value to 12. Restart SL, you should now be able to open 12 channels files natively.

interesting - is there a downside to doing this hack ?
any reason not to have this as the default ?
It was limited to 8 channels in earlier versions of SpectraLayers due to a DirectX limitation and as a safeguard to not saturate the engine. But it’s likely pretty safe to raise it to 12 now, those technical limitations are no longer there.
